Cover to Cover BIBLE reading

Hi Friends,

 

Today (Sunday 12^th February) marks the first official day of our daily Cover-to-Cover Bible reading. I am excited!!! I finished the Day 1 reading about an hour or so ago… I like the way it is set out!!!

 

If you already started reading before today, then I guess  you have a few spare days up your sleeve J. Remember, it is not a race; it is an opportunity to learn more about our God… actually my prayer is that you encounter Him!!! That is what I am seeking as I read.

 

Anne-Katrin also liked Day 1. She just asked me if she could keep reading… J. My response was “yes, keep reading, but only re-read verses from day one. Re-read it and allow God to reveal something different, ask Him for wisdom and revelation, aim at always trying to have an encounter with God.” That would be my advice to you too.

PLEASE PRAY! THE GOAL/VISION

Revival breaks out in the prison system. Why not see revival in Australia starting in our prisons. The fact is that the history of Australia is one of a convict dumping ground by the British! Can you imagine for a moment that GOD TV is installed into every single prison in Australia and New Zealand. And as a result there is a huge revival within the prison system. Men and women meet Jesus, lives are transformed and the prison system is eventually emptied!!!!

Matthew 19:26 (NIV) Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

REJOICE! QUEENSLAND PRISONS

GOD TV will be installed into every prison in Queensland in the next 18 months! The Chaplaincy board of Queensland voted that the Instal-Life FREE installation of GOD TV into prisons would be better than no Christian TV content at all! The board took the proposal on our behalf to QLD corrective services. The commissioner decided to conduct a trial in Wolston Prison with the promise of a full state endorsed roll-out if proven successful.

Instal-Life installed a full set up into every single prison cell in the Wolston complex in June 2010. We have received many letters from Christian inmates about the blessing and joy that GOD TV brings them! The government recently conducted a survey amongst the inmates to get feedback. The result was so positive that the “Commissioner of Correctives Services” is ENDORSING THE INSTAL-LIFE PROPOSED FREE ROLL OUT INTO ALL QUEENSLAND PRISONS – that’s ALL 17 prisons in the state.

The average prison will cost us approximately $6000 to fully set up with GOD TV. This includes: initial time to establish the prison approval; hiring of a full time staff member to manage installations for each prison; technician visits; networked installations into every cell; tuning; prison costs and technician costs.

With the average number of prisoners in QLD around 5,600 at any given time the average cost per inmate to have GOD TV transmitted 24/7 is just $18.50.

Imagine the background and/or beliefs of the various men and women that will pass through that cell and have access to Christian TV in the years to come. Imagine God’s hope of salvation, restoration and healing with GOD TV always available to those in greatest need. PLEASE PRAY! VICTORIAN PRISONS

My role as the Regional Director for GOD TV has opened government doors for us in more recent times. In December 2010, I had a personal meeting in Melbourne with the Deputy Commissioner for Victorian Prisons & Transitional Services. After presenting our Instal-Life proposal, I was confident that he is in favour of our proposal. All the feedback he provided was cautious but positive!!! He quickly added our proposal to the agenda of his next meeting with the state chaplains. At this point we are yet to hear feedback of that meeting, but, I believe God is at work here and that He will open doors and break down strongholds in Jesus Name and that the Gospel will be preached in these spiritually dark cells all over Australia.

Now there are currently 14 prisons in Victoria housing approximately 4,350 adults. We are on the verge of something great. Will you sow into this opportunity in faith, believing with us that we will install into ALL Victorian prisons?

PLEASE PRAY! BREAK THE CYCLE

Recidivism – is the term used for those who return to prison once released! For prisoners released in Victoria in 2006-07, 40.2% returned to corrective services within two years. This is the lowest of any individual state and slightly less than the national average of 44.6%. This is a terrible statistic! Something that I’m sure God would like us to change, something that you can help with and participate in.

PLEASE PRAY! THE PRISON FACTS

At 30th June 2009 there was a prison census that revealed:

• There were 29,317 prisoners in Australian prisons
• The prison population is up by 36% over the past 10 years
• It costs nearly $100,000 per prisoner per year – $800 million a year of taxpayer dollars
• Of the total prisoner population, 7% (2,125) were female
• The median age of all prisoners was 33.4 years
• Indigenous prisoners comprised a quarter of the total prisoner population
• Nearly three-quarters (72% or 21,213) of the total prisoner population were located in:
• New South Wales: 38% or 11,127
• Queensland: 19% or 5,667
• Western Australia: 15% or 4,419
• Prisoners were sentenced to an average prison term of 4.8 years
• The average expected time to serve is currently 3.5 years.
• 100% of prisoners need to hear the gospel at least once – preferably daily!!!

PLEASE PRAY! OUR FUNDING SITUATION

Prayerfully, over time we have set aside funds for this day, always believing that it would come. Right now our ministry has $37,000 for prison installations ready to use immediately. We never anticipated that two large states, Queensland and Victoria, would at the same time consider giving us the approval to rollout installations into every prison. We anticipate that a prison roll out of this magnitude, 31 prisons at $6000 per prison over an 18 month period would cost us approximately $186,000.

This leaves a massive shortfall of $149,000.

We do so need your support. Can you help? I can promise you that every cent offered by you will be dedicated for this cause alone. 100% will be allocated to Instal-Life Missions, not one cent will be placed anywhere else!

PARTNERSHIP OFFERING / TAX DEDUCTIBLE?

If you are considering partnering financially with Instal-Life for the prisons that are opening up in Australia it will need to be an ‘offering’ in the real meaning of the word. The government will not grant Instal-Life Missions tax deductibility status as we are using all the funding for ‘Christian Missions’. There is no short term taxation gain for these missions offering, only eternal rewards as you store up your riches in Heaven! I am sure that when you get to heaven that you will be so glad you invested wisely on earth.

The question beckons; what IF the government will not allow any more prison installations, who gets my offering? It is a very good question; the answer is ‘Missions’. Every cent will be allocated to supporting missionaries predominantly within India, China & Nepal to unreached people groups.

The long-term goal is to support 100 missionaries long term.

GLOBAL TESTIMONIES - GOD TV

Daniel Kwok – Hong Kong – I’ve been blessed by GOD TV since 2004 till now. Although at first I do not want to be a partner of GOD TV but after I’ve been blessed by GOD TV, I felt like I’m part of the ministry. So your ministry our viewer ministry now, we’re a family. I saw that  these 2-3 years GOD TV had a hard time in financial but God’s grace with GOD TV because GOD TV overcome that. Thank you and Happy 15^th birthday  GOD TV,  because of GOD TV all the churches unite together, although I’m from traditional church but I felt the speakers were fully anointed and I’m so blessed by them. Hamilton-Scotland- I feel compelled to witness to being touched this evening as I watched, not from the beginning, since I channel- hopped from some live soccer, and hadn’t intended watching God TV this evening!  Even my country playing live- Scotland, and also England- wasn’t enough to hold me!! Strangely, in the middle of Heidi’s early comments, she paused, talked about somebody has got pains in their eye, through to the back of their head, and they are being healed right now! Now, as a believer of many years, but far more alive in the past seven years to the reality of God’s healing power, I claimed this for myself, since I was having some acute migraine-type pain for most of today (had also been out in the sun!), and though I had taken some pain relief tablets earlier, they had not yet taken effect, and the pain was significant.  As Heidi spoke, I claimed this healing and within two seconds, relief began, pain subsided, and I just thanked the Father for again proving that he loves his children!  Since I am facing this laptop screen and typing this, I must be feeling ok!!  How’s that for a wee ‘coincidental’ God TV encounter?!

Reported by a US Prayer line Operator Elizabeth called at 3:25 pm asking for prayer.  She was extremely upset because she had lost her check book.  I prayed that the Lord would uncover where the checkbook was and that someone would find it and return it to her.

Elizabeth called back at 6:33 pm telling me that she had gotten a call from her veterinarian who said that a woman had found the checkbook in the parking lot and brought it to him.  They called her to tell her that her checkbook had been returned.

Raymond-Germany My life was so wild. I tried to kill myself twice. GOD TV really helped me. There are so many different topics and teachings…wow! This channel is such a blessing for me. I belong to the world wide body of Christ. That is why I support you!

Michael-Called US Operator Michael called in. He received an Angel Partner Pack and the presence of God fell and came over him as he was picking up the package from the post office. When he got home he watched the DVD and the Presence of God continued to increase until he couldn’t move anymore. He said it continued for a day and a half. He also said that he’s spent a fortune on his health issues and that God started touching him through the Lakeland revival and that it has been a catalyst for his growth in faith as well as healing in his physical body; he has been learning to commune with the Holy Spirit which has resulted in further physical healing as well as strengthening his walk. He prays frequently “Holy Spirit Come.” He sold his house in 10 days at the asking price so that he could recover money, and also got very blessed in the move. He got the exact kind of house he wanted and all of his utilities etc included in the rent for only $1500/mo which in itself is a miracle.

Zain-a new UK GOD TV temp I want to share a testimony with GOD TV.  Prior to working for GOD TV I had a feeling to do something for God since I haven’t really paid much attention to Him since childhood.  I have been having an uneasy feeling, restlessness, unnecessary worry about the future….lack of peace of mind you could say. But just working for the first 2 shifts as an operator, I have been encouraged by the calls. I now feel a sense of accomplishment and relaxation working for GOD TV.

Irvin-called US Prayer Operator Irvin called yesterday because his mother-in-law was in the hospital and her organs were failing.  Roselyn, a prayer operator, had prayed for his mother-in-law yesterday. He was calling back today to give the Testimony of what God had done for his mother-in-law. Irvin said that she felt her spirit leave her body and go to heaven.  She described walking on the clouds and speaking with Jesus, who she said was a very tall man.  She also said that she met and spoke with family members who had passed on.  She then said that she went back to the earth and entered her body. Irvin said that his mother-in-law is feeling totally better today and was sitting up in bed and talking about her experience with Jesus and Heaven.

Europe Kerstin and Rudiger – I am so impressed by GOD TV. I have been watching for three months now and I am amazed. I often cry when I watch GOD TV because God really touches my heart. We want to give for this Missions Week because we are more than thankful to God. Sometimes I wake up in the night because God wants to talk to me through GOD TV. Wow, I am totally amazed! Cannot even find words to thank you all!!!

Magdalena-Germany During the past weeks I was able to watch God TV twice. Both times I did not feel well and was longing for some comfort and hope. The first time I watched God TV online, Steve Munsey talked about the Day of Atonement and prayed with Rory and Wendy and the God TV team. While they were praying, I sensed the presence of Jesus right next to me. I started to sob, because His presence and His love were just overwhelming. Yesterday I felt discouraged again. So I started to watch GOD TV while preparing supper. Pastor Matthew spoke and caught my attention – he shared about the 1000 times blessing. Then he prayed. Sarah-US Hello! My Name is Sarah Davis I’m 19 from from United States, Michigan. I found GOD TV while switching through the channels on DIRECTV in ‘08 and have been watching it since! I gave my life to Christ when I was listening to a message from Todd Bentley and I just wanted to thank you for bringing GOD TV to America. It’s been a huge blessing to my whole family! My Older brother also gave his Life to Christ from watching GOD TV while he visited! I really want GOD TV to stay on DIRECTV! No offence to the other Christian Channel’s but I don’t enjoy watching them. GOD TV is different and if it weren’t for you I would still be lost.

Marie-US – This morning I called DIRECTV for the 4th time; this time to thank them for granting our requests to allow GOD TV to remain on their platform.  A young man named Sterling answered my call; and when I encouraged him to watch GOD TV for himself, he said he had been watching ever since receiving multiple calls day after day to keep it on DIRECTV.  The calls so piqued his interest that he checked GOD TV out and has been watching daily.  This is an answer to a prayer the Lord gave me:  Let those receiving the calls watch to see what all the ‘fuss’ is about. I, too, thank the Father for DISH’s decision to carry GOD TV.   May the Gospel of the Kingdom take off through GOD TV and DISH like a brush fire with God’s angels driving it across this nation, especially at this time in America’s history.  May he set fires and stir his people as never before, waking us from the deep sleep we’ve been in. God loves you and your teams and may His joy be your strength.  May He continue to fill you with wisdom, understanding, prophetic direction, anointing and encouragement, no matter what obstacles lay ahead.

Carol-called a UK Operator – She accepted Christ into life through GOD TV! In May 2010 she was flicking through the channels on SKY TV and came across GOD TV. Out of interest she decided to watch it for a minute. Wendy was praying and Carol started to feel an overwhelming sense of ‘presence’. She knew it was God despite never attending church before! Moments after she said the prayer of salvation and gave her life to God! She knew some Christian neighbors so the next day she went to tell them about what just happened. They took her to their local church in Preston and she is still going there now! Carol briefly told me about her past battles with depression and how God has changed her thoughts as she reads the Bible and watches GOD TV. This is such an encouraging story of a life transformed and how God is using GOD TV to change lives.

The year that was….

This year of 2011 has seen some considerable highlights at Instal-Life. We want to firstly give God all the glory and praise and thanks for everything that we did together with Him. Firstly, we helped multitudes across Australia and New Zealand connect to Christian TV. Secondly, thanks to your support we raised considerable amounts of funds for missions’. With those funds we have installed GOD TV into 8 prisons (in every cell), fully funded 22 missionaries and helped some rehabilitation centres and remote aboriginal communities get Christian TV. This year our bonus resource pack has grown to include over 30+ ministries. They all endorse and support our vision AND they all give new installations a free gift. With all this wonderful growth – God blessed us with our first child Jakob Samuel Knapman!  As we reflect on the year that been, the good and the not so good, let’s remember to do what is said in Philippians 4 ‘Rejoice…Pray with thanksgiving…if there is anything praiseworthy, think about these things…and the God of peace will be with you’.
